Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat

We are located on the Far North Coast of New South Wales, almost on the Queensland border. We are generally accessed by car via Murwillumbah, which is about half an hour's drive from Gold Coast Airport in Coolangatta, and we're about another 20 minutes' drive from there. All roads are tarred, except for the last short stretch leading to us, and our driveway itself, which is pebbled. The trip can be made in any domestic vehicle with no difficulty.

If you are flying to us, there are a number of car rental companies at the Airport – hiring a car can be good value for the flexibility it provides. If you like, we will be happy to organise a transfer for you

We advise that the Retreat is popular and the longer you leave your booking, the fewer options you will have in the different types of accommodation.

No, we do not have a sit-down restaurant but we do provide private dining for our guests with our gourmet menu

Yes all of them do - at the Retreat all of our a cabins, bungalows and Cedar Lodge have large double sunken spa baths. The two other Luxury Lodges , Springbrook Lodge and Numinbah Lodge, have amazing solid marble bathtubs. All bathrooms at Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat have floor-to-ceiling windows and rainforest views.

No. Although we have fully equipped kitchens in each bungalow, with the Rainforest Canopy Bungalowsincluding a full-sized oven, we have an extensive gourmet menu to choose from. Choices available include Delicious Dinners, Gourmet Hampers, Breakfast Baskets and even Picnic Packs.
