Unless otherwise requested, performances will typically go for 20-35mins. The dancer will use a number of traditional and contemporary props to accompany her performance. However, we are flexible and are able to cater any performance for your special event.
Of course! Bellydancing is family friendly, children often love to get up and dance too! Not to mention gaze at the bright, glittery costumes.
Yes, tipping is traditional, welcome and accepted. Tips may be tucked into the dancers belt, arm bands or simply in her hand. Although tipping is welcome, it is not compulsory, a clap and a smile is enough to let your dancer know she is appreciated.
Most commonly, the music is of traditional Middle Eastern origin. However, some music may be a modern fusion and world music. Also, if requested Marta can perform to a special piece of music of your choice.
