Mandurah Formalwear has a reputation built on providing quality service for over 20 years in Rockingham, Baldivis and the Peel region. Lisa Hayes is the current and fourth owner of this well established business, she works alongside her team – consisting of Linda, Georgia and Ella. The ladies all have great fashion sense and take immense pride in putting together stylish attire that will ensure your fit is perfect for your Wedding Day.

12 - 16 weeks (3-4 months) before the wedding you should have decided on a look for the Groom and Groomsmen. Touching base to plan whether your wish to hire or purchase the suits in advance is always good, this gives enough lead time for us order in and make alterations as necessary for your wedding party.
Suit rentals can start from as little as $130 depending on which option you go with and what fabric the suit is made from. Alterations are included in the hire price along with the drycleaning costs. Your hire period is usually around four days, although we can negotiate depending upon your requirements.
We have a range of suits to purchase in a number of colours and styles. We have stock instore or we can happily order in for you. Some wedding parties decide to hire vests, shirts and tie packages and purchase suits or vice versa. We are more than happy to discuss your preferences and needs to help
you decide what is right for your special occasion.
It is not essential to book an appointment, however for consideration of others being fitted it is preferred. Just give us a quick call, text or email and we will do our best to accommodate you. We do ask that Wedding parties contact us to discuss a time that is suitable so we can give you the
best service and attention possible. We also like to encourage the bride and groom to visit us in store prior so we can discuss in detail your preferences and customise a wedding package in a more relaxed environment. This usually means the fittings for the remaining groomsmen won’t take as long and they can schedule a time that is convenient for them if you can’t organise everyone on the same day.
Yes you can! If you have hired previously we can have a suit ready to try on at collection from our records, alternatively you can give us your measurements via phone/email and we can prepare a package accordingly. At collection we encourage a final fitting.

How long before the wedding should the boys come in to get their suits? We want tailor-made at least for the groom, but maybe the groomsman too.

At Mandurah Formalwear we do not custom make suits, this would be a question for a tailor that offer this service. We make alterations to our hire suits to adjust them to fit - only minimal alterations are performed on hire suits.
How long before the wedding should the boys go suit shopping?

I would reccomend around 12 weeks before the wedding to come in and select the suit options and have them all fitted to ensure that you can have exactly what you require on your wedding day.

Good morning,
Unfortunatley we do not custom make suits, however we offer a range of boys suits to purchase, we then have a tailor who can assist with making necessary alterations to ensure an amazing fit. It would be best to allow 4-5 weeks to complete an outfit - from fitting, to altering.
