FAQ
16 - 20 weeks (4-5 months) before the wedding you should have decided who is making the grooms suit, who you are using as the supplier to buy the suits, or your rental supply. This lead time removes the stress from all of these processes, and generally speaking allows you the fullest range of choice.
Always check the quality of the suit before buying. Most rental places have switched to Pure Wool products which are lighter and more comfortable, especially for summer months. Whereas, cheaper suits tend to be poor quality fabrics, and the manufacturers do not invest in suit construction and suit finishing either. Yes it may on be a few hundred dollars more, but the heat of synthetics can be unbareable in February and March.
Suit rentals can start from as little as $140 depending on where the shop is located, and what fabric the suit is made from. Some business' include alterations, others hire the suits, as is. It is always good to shop around and compare what is included with each rental, as different business' offer different services.
No, Britton's offers a range of services depending on each gent's requirements. These are suit rental, Off the Rack Sales, Made to Order Sales, and Made to Measure (Bespoke) Sales.
Each of these products have different benefits depending on each gent's requirements.
Suit rentals are actually for agreed periods. Each business will have standard terms in regards to how long, but you should be able to negotioate with each business. Depending on season, peak or off peak, and suit availability. If you think you might need a rental for a longer period, always ASK the business you'd like to deal with, if you can have it for longer.

How to describe our dress code to guests
We want to have a formal, black tie wedding, but we’re not sure our guests will really know what that means. What’s a short and polite way of explaining this on our wedding invites? We really want everyone to dress up for it.
Brittons Formal Wear
With a more casual attitude towards dress these days a dress code is a good thing to include in your invitations .
If you really want a Black Tie wedding then you will need to be quite specific re the dress code , very few guests would have a tux in their wardrobe
To assist your guests to dress in an appropiate manner you may include the name of a formal hire shop .Im sure you could organise a discount for guests who need to hire , then you get to have a black tie wedding without too much additionl cost to your guests.
