Hi there! Is anyone able to give me advice on this gown? I was wondering about the cost of something like this? Or alternatively how I would go about having something like this made? My wedding is Next August 2018. Thanks Lauren

I really don't want to wear a veil, but what are my other options?
I really don't like veils at all, but I'm not sure what other types of headwear would suit me, I don't like wearing my hair up at all, only down

You have lots of options for different types of head pieces, eg: lace hair piece made to match your dress, flower crowns real or silk flowers, crystal hair pieces, birdcage veils for a vintage look, head chains for a more boho look and so many more. Many bridal store carry a range of accessories and some even custom make to your requirements. If you want to be more fashion forward having a bridal cape instead of a veil is one of the hottest trends on the catwalk. Also talk to your hairdresser as they have probably done a lot of hairstyles and have seen different hair pieces. There is no rules you have to follow, you don't even have to have a hair piece just do what make you happy.

First of all you should go get quotes on alteration as it can very from place to place. Book in with the dressmaker you trust with your gown and understands what kind of fit you are after. If its just standard alterations 6-8 weeks, if you want make more changes like changing the style of the gown you will need longer.
Its normal to pick up the week before or week of the wedding. Don't do alterations to early because if you weight changes you will have to alter it again.
We recommend booking in with a dressmaker as soon as you find a good one but don't start the alterations until 6-8 weeks out.
