CAN I EXCHANGE MY GARMENT FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE/STYLE?

We are unable to process exchanges however if you would like another size or style, simple re-purchase the garment online and lodge your unwanted item for return.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY RETURN?

For Australian customers, you can opt to use our FREE return label when lodging your return online via our return portal. We are offering FREE RETURNS for all Australian customers until 31 January 2019. Alternatively, you can return this at your local post office and pay directly with them.

For International customers, unfortunately we do not have return labels available at this time. However, it is something we hope to implement in the future.

Please note: The cost of shipping on your original item/order will not be reimbursed in the event you make a return. Your store credit or refund (Esther luxe styles) will be for the item/s only.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN?

We will process your return within 2-5 business days once it reaches our warehouse.

After a disastrous experience with our original dresses, I as pleasantly surprised by the great quality and reasonable price of the dresses we purchased from Esther and co, delivery was nice and quick too!

Writing this very genuinely with the hope that no other bride goes through what I did with Esther and Co. We had an issue with our dresses quite close to our wedding at the fault of Esther and Co. The customer "care" team showed anything but care. I really needed help and they were not contactable when I was in crisis mode. I had to buy all new bridesmaid dresses from another supplier 2 weeks out from my wedding after not having my issue resolved for 2 months. I am still fighting with Esther and Co to get a resolution. I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to contact them to speak to someone or have it escalated and not one person who works at Esther and Co cares about their customers. Not one. Easily the worst customer experience I have ever had.

When's the ideal time to buy bridesmaid dresses?

How far in advance should we come bridesmaid dress shopping before the wedding?

Ideally as soon as possible as this will allow you and your bridesmaids to enjoy the process and troubleshoot any issues that arise, sometimes the colour or style of the dress you were thinking of purchasing may look different to what you had imagined on your girls. So it is best to order them a few months in advance to ensure they are the perfect silhouette and shade and that your bridesmaids are comfortable in the dresses. It also allows plenty of time for alterations to take place so that the fit is perfect and your bridesmaids look and feel as confident as you on the day.

What does the bridal party usually pay for?

I know it depends, but I'd love to know what the bridal party usually pays for and what the couple usually pays for when it comes to outfits and any other expenses. Thank you!

This honestly varies!

We have had instances where bridal parties pay for a portion of their outfit for the day, the whole outfit or have been gifted the outfit by the bride.

We also have found that bridal showers, bridal shower gifts and wedding gifts are often the most commonly paid for items that a bridal party will pay for.

However depending on a bride and grooms budget there have been instances where the bridal party pay for or chip in for the hair and makeup on the day, wedding day transportation and accomodation (particularly if a destination wedding).

We recommend reviewing your budget and having an open discussion with your bridal party to see what they would feel most comfortable with doing.

What colour bridesmaids dresses that aren't black are the most flattering to the most body shapes?

I've got a bridal party of all sizes and shapes! Don't want them to wear black though — what's the best alternative?

Hi Katrina,

We would suggest darker toned dresses such as navy or dark mauve as they are flattering tones for various skin tones and figures.

That being said the fabrication of bridesmaid dresses can make a big impact and help by broadening the colours that can be selected.

For example waterfall/knife pleating is flattering on many silhouettes, our Galilee Dress here is a good example - https://www.esther.com.au/products/galilee-dress-cornflour

The pleating elongates the figure, the relaxed fit is comfortable and modest meaning that your bridesmaid are likely to feel comfortable and there is greater versatility with the lighter colours on offer such as our cornflour blue, champagne and mauve.
