Bride or groom first on thank you?

On the thank you card attached to the Bombonerie, does the bride or groom go first? Similar to the invite?

There is no wrong or right here.  Entirely up to you and your partner.  The tradition is that the Brides name goes first on invites then after that the marriage its the Grooms name first.  Hope this helps.

I would say it would be the brides name first.

Same as when a toast is raised at a wedding, normally the toast is "to the bride and groom".

But there is no right or wrong answer.

I lean towards the bride.

According to tradition, the brides name will be first prior the the marriage, then grooms name will be first after you wed.

For example, invitations will have the bride's name first, whereas thank you cards/bomboniere will have the grooms name first.

I see most of my couples do this, however it is a personal preference and you can of course do whatever you like! :)

The sequence of whose name comes first on the bonbonerie is a subjective choice.  I would follow what was done on the invitation and other wedding

paraphernalia.  Also you should consider the layout of the names on the bonbonerie and see which name looks best in the spots allocated for names.  www.havingabash.com.au

It is totally up to the Bride and Groom to decide this, there is no right or wrong way.

However It is normally whoever is addressed first when people are speaking about you
