A popular wedding favour is playing cards. Your own artwork design is printed on the back of the card as well as all over the packaging and you can even have your individual guests names printed on the packet to use as part of the table setting seating plan.

FAQ

Yes, we ship Australia wide and track the goods.

If goods are going to a residential address and there is no-one home, the courier will leave a card for you to re-organise delivery. Alternatively we recommend shipping to a work address (if that is allowed at your place of work) or you can request for goods to be left at your front door step if you are not home. If you request goods to be left at front door step when you are not home, we cannot be responsible for the goods if they are damaged by weather or stolen.

Yes some products do allow for mix n match of colours, as long as we brand the product with the same design across the full order with the same artwork and same engraving or same print colour at the same art size. We can confirm this when you inquire.

The main packaging has your artwork the same across all the packaging, but we allow for individual guest names to be added to certain products. You then use them as part of the place setting at the reception and remove the name tent card you would normally have.

For the products we provide that can be individually named with the guest name, we recommend providing the guest list names in an excel spreadsheet consisting of first name in column A and surname in column B.

We recommend also having some blanks made up incase of any last minute guests being added to the attendees. Your main artwork stays the same but we print without a name (if you request).

You can also make the names fun. We don't need first name and surname for all guests, you can do nicknames instead - Johnno, Hillsy, Lou-Lou etc or you can have Grandma Jean, Uncle John, Cousin Jenny etc. If your unsure, please ask.

For some products we have default designs you can choose from (like the chocolate options) and we just add the Bride and Grooms names, wedding date, wedding venue or even a short message or poem (room permitting).

For other products the branding space is limited, so it may be just a small laser engrave of the Bride and Grooms names and a date. You can tell us the font you would like.

Some products allow full custom artwork that needs to be prepared. If you know a graphic designer, we can supply product templates/specifications and you can design a really bespoke design unique to the Bride and Groom that yu supply back to us.

If you want custom artwork that has a lot of detail that we need to lay out on the product template, we charge an additional fee for this. We will quote you should this be a requirement.

We supply you with an art layout for you to check and sign off prior to full production so that way you can check and approve the art layout you requested.

Each product varies in time, but i would suggest allowing 2-4 weeks depending on the product.

I also suggest ordering products at least 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date. That way you have peace of mind that we have delivered and you can tick the wedding favours off your list of "to-do's" so there is one less thing to worry about.

We ask that you check your products within 7 days of when you receive delivery.  Please let us know of any concern so we can assist. Photos and a description of the issue are highly recommended to be emailed to us at info@yayweddingfavours.com.au for review and we will contact you as soon as possible.

How far in advance should you order your bomboniere

What's the usual lead time on bomboniere please?

YAY! Wedding Favours would say that your bomboniere can be ordered anytime from 1 month to 3 months in advance.

It all depends on which bomboniere you are choosing and if the gift is custom made or off-the-shelf.

Even if it is off-the-shelf, it still needs time for the branding and also to secure the blank stock.

Sometimes it is tough to order so far in advance.

I always suggest to over order the quantity of bomboniere over and above the expected guest count. With the extras, you can gift as a thank you to your; celebrant, photographer, car driver, flower arranger, reception venue host, hairdresser, make-up artist etc who are apart of your special day, but don't get to be at the reception.

If the gifts are personalised with guest names, that makes it a bit harder for timing while you await the RSVP's. But even still, ideally allow 4-8 weeks in advance. That way you can cross it off your 'to-do' list as early as possible.

Bride or groom first on thank you?

On the thank you card attached to the Bombonerie, does the bride or groom go first? Similar to the invite?

I would say it would be the brides name first.

Same as when a toast is raised at a wedding, normally the toast is "to the bride and groom".

But there is no right or wrong answer.

I lean towards the bride.
