James Corona is a construction labourer who had never had formal music or singing lessons before recording his first demo CD in March 2008. But he has a natural gift and innate timing, blending strength and sensitivity to create a pallette of shades across a wide vocal range - not just opera.

When well known Queensland opera performer and teacher Jason Barry-Smith heard James sing Puccini's Nessum Dorma in his first lesson, he told channel 9's Sunday Sunrise that it "knocked my socks off".

James has continued voice training with Jason Barry-Smith and has even made the semi finals (following closely behind the Opera singer Mark Vincent) on the 2009 Australia’s Got Talent TV show . He loves performing at weddings and really enjoys the reaction from the crowds.
