How long are band sets?

The industry standard band set is 45 minutes on and 15 minutes off. However for weddings we work around your formalities. Some sets may be 30 minutes and the next may be an hour. Our goal is to keep your guests on the dancefloor having a great time!

Who provides background music while the band takes a break?

If you have booked our DJ as a part of your entertainment package the DJ will play all break music. If the DJ is not a part of your entertainment package the band will play the break music.

How many people are in a Duo, Trio or Trio + DJ entertainment package?

A Duo is 2 singers. A Trio is 3 singers

When booking our DJ it will be an addition person. The Trio + DJ line up consists of 4 people.

Which wedding entertainment package should I choose?

This will depend on your personal preference, your budget and the size of your venue. Some venues have strict sound restrictions so a smaller band is recommended.

Our most popular entertainment package for weddings is the TRIO + DJ (5-6 hours) or the TRIO + 2 Musicians (3-4 hours) for those who prefer the LIVE feel.

Do you provide sound and lighting as part of your service?

We offer free State of the Art sound, free basic lighting and free use of our cordless microphone for speeches.

Can I choose the music I want?

Absolutely. You can choose your formality songs only (Bridal Party Entrance, Bridal Dance, Cutting the Cake, Garter and Bouquet Ceremony and your Farewell), or you can provide a detailed list of your favourite songs from our song list listed on our website at www.sexandchocolate.com.au

If there's a song you like that isn't currently in our songlist please let us know and we can either learn it or have our DJ play your requested songs.

Do you require a stage?

We don’t require a stage. You are welcome to book a stage if your venue allows it. Upon booking we will provide stage measurements required for your chosen entertainment package.

Sex and Chocolate played at our wedding and were absolutely fantastic. Everyone is still raving about their performance. Although we weren’t allowed to dance due to restrictions, they were able to keep the party going well past midnight. Thanks again!

My husband and I went to see Sex & Chocolate perform prior to booking and they were amazing! They were awesome on the wedding night too and had all our guests on the dancefloor. There was a little mishap when our first dance music got cut short - which was unfortunate because we'd had a few dance lessons and didn't get to finish our routine. Overall, we loved having them perform and would recommend Sex & Chocolate for your event.
